The Pipits: January 21 2023, Fifty Point Conservation Area 22 Jan 2023 1:55 PM Colleen Reilly (Administrator) Hello Pipits!

A good group of us visited Fifty Point CA for the second time this month, with Jason Burch in the lead. There were ten of us in total this time. Jason used his superpowers once again to locate 3 tiny Northern Saw Whet Owls roosting in conifers. It's truly like magic, they are so well camouflaged, I can barely see them when they're pointed out to me.

Many thanks to Jason for guest leading a second outing, and thanks everyone for coming out and making it a great day!

The eBird list is hidden so the owl reports are not available to the public, but you should be able to access the list here: https://ebird.org/checklist/S126628484
